About LearnMap
A study tool built around a syllabus rather than a search box.

The problem it solves
Lectures are on YouTube. Syllabuses are in PDFs nobody opens twice. The gap between the two is where revision time goes: working out which of forty search results actually covers your unit, then scrubbing through an hour of video hunting for the four minutes that explain one thing.
LearnMap starts from the syllabus. Your programme is laid out as its courses and the topics under each, in the order they are taught. You put the lecture you want under a topic, and what you can see at a glance is what you have covered and what is still blank.
What it does
- Reads the lecture. Paste a YouTube link and its published captions are stitched into readable sentences beside the video, searchable, with every line clickable to that second.
- Writes notes you can revise from. Not a summary — a definition set apart, a procedure as numbered steps, a comparison as a table, a formula as written. Each section points back at the moment in the lecture it came from, so you can check anything that looks wrong.
- Answers questions, with receipts. Ask about the lecture and the answer quotes the passage it came from and timestamps it. If the transcript does not support an answer, it says so rather than inventing one.
- Reads your handwriting. Photograph the pages of your own notebook and they come back typed and searchable alongside everything else, with anything illegible marked rather than guessed at.
What it deliberately does not do
It does not pick your lectures for you. It gives you the structure and you bring the video, because which explanation works for you is not something software should decide.
It does not host or re-upload video. It reads the caption track YouTube already publishes, and the video plays from YouTube.
It does not pretend the AI is always right. Every generated section carries the timestamp it came from precisely so that checking it is quick, and we say plainly in our terms that you should not rely on it alone for anything that matters.
What it costs
The free plan is permanently free and needs no card — 20 videos, 8 sets of study notes, 20 photographed pages and 100 AI questions in total, once, not every month. Typed PDF uploads are unlimited and are not part of that. When the allowance runs out nothing is deleted — everything you made stays readable, searchable and exportable; what stops is adding new material.
The 6 Months plan is ₹1,499, paid once, covering six months. Full details are on the pricing page.
Who makes it
LearnMap is built and run by Pavan P Udupa, from 1st cross road, Udupi, 576103. It is a small operation, which is why support is a single email address read by a person: learnmap.in@gmail.com.
If something is broken or a set of notes came out badly, we would rather hear about it than not. That is how most of what works here got fixed.
